Background of Electro-Fluidic System
Complete Fluid Handling System
The first Electro-Fluidic Systems product, the Lee Interface Fluidic (LIF) solenoid valve, was designed in the 1960's to meet demands for superior performance and reliability. The LIF set a new standard in miniaturization and low power consumption - a standard which is still a benchmark for the industry. The LIF's success prompted the evolution of new valves, pumps, tube fitting systems and fluid control components required to complete systems for flowing all types of fluids and gasses, no matter how aggressive. You can now build a complete fluid handling system using the world's best components.

Miniature Solenoid Valves
Our most popular Electro-Fluidic Systems products are the miniature solenoid valves, some are the size of a thumb, some are smaller than a "AAA" battery. Since the development of the LIF, our valves have defined the state-of-the-art in miniaturization and performance. We have also developed two and three-way miniature inert solenoid valves. Available in a wide variety of designs, many of them have an expected operating life that exceeds 200,000,000 cycles. These valves are ideal where chemical inertness is required, as in medical and scientific instrumentation.

NEW Miniature Pumps
Recently introduced, miniature fixed and variable displacement pumps provide great reliability in a very small package. Inert wetted materials allow the precision metering and dispensing of a wide variety of fluids.

MINSTAC - Miniature Inert System of Tubing and Components
Before MINSTAC was developed, no other single system could handle corrosive fluids while offering ease of assembly, total modularity, and design integrity. MINSTAC simply solves the problem of handling the most corrosive fluids and gasses with a totally inert system. It precisely controls flow rate, pressure, filtration, atomization and other factors without altering the fluid's chemical properties. Fittings are easily assembled onto Teflon® tubing and then connected to Lee miniature solenoid valves and MINSTAC components. The totally inert system uses materials such as Teflon®, PEEK, Kel-F®, Kalrez®, and Chemraz® in direct contact with the fluid.

MINSTAC Tube Fitting Systems
MINSTAC Systems interconnect three different outside diameters of Teflon® Tubing.
  • 062 MINSTAC for .062 outside diameter tubing
  • 125 MINSTAC for .125 outside diameter tubing
  • 156 MINSTAC for .156 outside diameter tubing

    MINSTAC Tube Fittings include:
  • Tees
  • Soft Tubing Adapters
  • Unions
  • Pipe Thread Adapters
  • Manifolds & Custom Designs

    MINSTAC Fluid Control Components include:
  • Check Valves
  • Filters
  • Liquid Dispensers
